A discussion on the Nebbiolo grape including a robust tasting of wines from both Italy and Big Cork.

Winemaker Dave Collins has grown Nebbiolo grapes for over 25 years and he will share his knowledge on this elusive and unique grape variety. He will also share his experience in the Italian Piedmont, where the Nebbiolo grape is famously grown, and explain the distinctions between Barolo, Barbaresco, and Langhe Nebbiolo. Wines from Big Cork Vineyards and Italy will be tasted and discussed alongside a gourmet lunch featuring Piedmont inspired cuisine.
